- Medium sized Chartered IFA firm
My client is a Chartered wealth planning practice based outside Gatwick who have been operating for 15+ years. They have an excellent reputation providing very solid financial advice to both private and corporate clients who lives in London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex & Hampshire. They have a large book of business who are City professionals, families, retirees, and business owners with a minimum of £500k to invest with their top customer holding £25m+ to invest. This medium sized firm has a team of 10 Advisers and a full administrative and paraplanning team who work in a pod structure.
The Managing Director is seeking to recruit a brand new Paraplanner. Knowledge of Adviser Office CRM or Voyant and FE Analytics would be highly advantageous. They use a variety of platforms including Elevate and Transact. The business works in a pod structure so you will be allocated an adviser to support and you will be responsible for end to end paraplanning support on all the advisers' cases. You will be writing suitability reports, doing all relevant research, doing technical analysis and calculations, cashflow modelling and all other necessary duties typical of a paraplanner. You will be studying towards your level 4 diploma or have achieved this. For the top end of the salary banding you will need your level 4 diploma. The hiring managers will support with any Chartered exams you wish to study. There is a route to becoming an adviser but for for 3 - 5 years. The role will be office based for the first 3 months then you can work from home a few days a week. If you are sitting any exams then the Directors will support you with your studies but what qualifications you have is not a deal breaker, experience rather than exams is more important. The management team place a lot of emphasis on staff wellbeing and team rapport and regularly enjoy company socials and trips away as well as supporting.
The MD is looking to offer £35k - £45k basic salary, possibly more for the right candidate with an attractive benefits package including Death in service, Private medical and life Insurance. If a supportive environment where all the staff actively help each other and want to gain the most out of their work is appealing to you whilst also having some fun along the way then this role will be perfect for you.If this role sounds of interest or any other roles I am working on please get in touch.
