Mobile Specialist Cleaning Technician
37.5 hours per week, any 5 from 7 days, days or night
Purpose of role
To carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance at client sites as part of a nationwide team.
This role requires fully flexible working hours to suit the needs of the clients and business. May require occasional working away from home (Hotel & Dinner Expenses covered and booked by GCC).
The role reports to the Field Service Manager

Main Duties
- To take responsibility for all matters relating to Health and Safety on site and to facilitate completion of work orders on time and in a safe manner.
- Ensure that any accidents or near misses are reported to the Field Service Manager.
- To be able to work confidently alone whilst also providing competent support to other technicians when required.
Carry out:
- Carpet Cleaning
- Upholstery Cleaning
- Hard Floor Cleaning
- Biohazard Cleans - Including Body Spills (Requires Hep B Certification)
- Needle Sweeps (Requires Hep B Certification)
- Gutter/High Level/ATEX Cleaning
- Shower Head Sanitising/Descaling in accordance with Legionella Compliance
- All above to be completed following GCC RAMS
- Complete all assigned work orders daily.
- Log in and out of Ostara correctly on each visit.
- Correctly complete Job watch completion certificates once each work order is complete.
- Always maintain company vehicle in a clean and safe condition
- Clean down & maintain company equipment daily.
- Maintain required stock levels on company vehicle.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Specific Requirements:
English Manual Driving Licence
Required to undertake Hepatitis B Vaccinations (Costs covered by GCC)
Part of a weekend One week in Four Call Out Rota
DBS check will be carried out as part of the successful candidate's pre-employment check.
