Quality Director

£110k total package (car allowance and bonus) - £95k basic

A Quality Director is required for Hunters’ prestigious healthcare-manufacturing client suited to a "Qualified Person" with experience in a similar role and with experience growing a team. The Quality Director is a senior-level executive and is part of the Senior Leadership team, and is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of products, services, and processes.

  • Create a roadmap and action plan to achieve quality goals aligned with the company strategic objectives
  • Ensure documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions are in place to support quality processes
  • Ensure regulatory compliance
  • Lead initiatives such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other improvement methodologies to enhance processes, reduce defects, and optimize resource utilization
  • Establish quality control measures to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality systems and identify areas for improvement
  • Supplier and vendor management
  • Data analysis and reporting

Quality Director - person

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, Life Sciences). Advanced degrees or certifications
  • Extensive experience in quality management, preferably in a leadership role, within a relevant industry (e.g., manufacturing, healthcare, pharmaceuticals)
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulations, and industry standards (e.g, ISO 9001, ISO14001; ISO 45000 and others; MHRA regulations, GDP and GMP guidelines)
