Leading a small warehouse team, managing inventory, stock control & demand planning, maximising efficiency with systems such as an ERP, WMS and Barcoding and driving continuous improvement.

This exciting opportunity would suit a natural problem solver, who enjoys a hands-on approach, with relevant experience gained in a manufacturing, engineering or production setting dealing with a high volume of SKU’s, who is motivated to always find a way to get goods to the customers fulfilling the target of 'on time in full every time’.

Core responsibilities will typically include:

  • Receiving goods including quality control.
  • Inventory control & levels.
  • Responsibility for high volume of SKU’s.
  • Location selection and storing.
  • Picking for order fulfilment.
  • Resolve queries regarding inventory shortages.
  • Support Procurement and Purchasing with materials & consumable demand forecasting (MRP) and replenishment disciplines including kanban for critical high-volume items.
  • Ensuring optimum accuracy of data in the ERP.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Sales & Project teams to align stores activities.

Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant inventory control, stock & stores management experience.
  • Exposure to an engineering, manufacturing or production environment.
  • Understanding of demand planning.
  • Comfortable working with systems such as an ERP, MRP, Warehouse Management & Barcoding system.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite.
  • A natural leader who possesses excellent problem-solving skills.
