Are you an experienced Stores Lead with a passion for maintaining smooth supply chain operations in a fast-paced engineering environment?Our client, a leading hardware manufacturer and trade supplier, is seeking a dedicated Inventory Manager to join their dynamic team in Crawley.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee inventory control, ensuring optimal stock levels and efficient order fulfilment.
  • Manage the selection and organisation of storage locations, ensuring easy access and accurate stock placement.
  • Handle queries related to inventory shortages and address incoming goods issues, such as quality, quantity, and documentation.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organisation, and security of the stores, ensuring best practices are upheld.
  • Support procurement and purchasing teams by forecasting material and consumable demands.
  • Ensure ERP system data is accurate and up to date for effective inventory management.
The Candidate:
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • A keen eye for detail, with excellent organisational skills and a system-oriented approach.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems is desirable.
The Package:
  • Competitive salary of £35,000 to £40,000pa, dependent on experience.
  • Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 4.30pm.
  • 45-minute lunch break.
  • Onsite Parking with accessible transport links.
