- Loading and unloading mail and parcels.
- Organising packages into the correct sections within the warehouse to ensure they arrive safely at their destination.
- Royal Mail processes millions of packages and letters daily. During your shift, you will handle mail coming from and going to locations worldwide. Working as part of a team, you will sort through a significant volume of mail. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a keen eye for detail, flexibility, commitment, and enthusiasm.
- Early Shift: 01:45 – 06:15 (£17.44 per hour)
- Late Shift: 18:15 – 21:45 (£16.23 per hour)
- All applicants will be required complete a DBS check as part of the registration.
- You must provide references and proof of address covering the past five years.
- As part of the onboarding process you will be invited to attend an induction where you will be provided with the nessesary training to be able to be successful within the role of a parcel sorter within Royal Mail. Inductions take place every wednesday afternoon.
- An understanding of manual handling policies is essential, as the role involves lifting heavy items.
