About the role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a team, oversee project costs, designs, NERS accreditation, and client relationships, while ensuring regulatory compliance and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Project Managers and Office Staff, ensuring goals, financial targets, and deadlines are met.
- Approve project quotations, designs, and costings, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
- Oversee procurement and approve subcontractors and suppliers for cost-effective solutions.
- Represent the company, building and maintaining strong client relationships with clear communication and alignment on project expectations.
- Manage relationships with ICPs and IDNOs, ensuring proper asset valuation and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain NERS accreditations, coordinate health and safety surveyor visits, and ensure compliance with Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance standards.
- Ensure resource allocation, streamline communication, and address commercial or technical challenges to support project delivery.
What we are looking for:
- Solid experience in the utility sector ideally within an electricity-focused company.
- Strong understanding of the utility sector, with a preference for experience in ICPs or IDNOs.
- Proven track record in managing commercial, financial, and operational aspects of utility projects.
