Core responsibilities will typically include:

  • Implement production systems, processes and disciplines including but not limited to planning, scheduling, and sequencing to ensure best use of resources and on time delivery of customers’ orders.
  • Introduce industry leading manufacturing practices covering all manufacturing, finishing, assembly, packing and shipping functions.
  • Establish and improve the quality assurance processes and disciplines and accountable to ensure provide exceptional quality products and services.
  • Create and maintain HSE standards ensuring safety of all stakeholders as well as compliance to regulations, the wellbeing of our staff, housekeeping standards through 5S disciplines.
  • Lead, train, motivate and support the team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including process improvements and problem resolution.
  • Partner and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve planning, processes, systems and ultimately customer satisfaction.
  • Budget and cost control.
  • Schedule production and assembly activities and the outcomes to comply with QA and OTIF requirements.

Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Proven success in a similar production management role.
  • Previous success leading improvement projects in job lot production environments with significant demand.
  • Understanding of metal manufacturing or related engineering industry.
  • A natural leader with strong change management capability.
  • Deep understanding of production processes and related quality management systems.
  • Commercially minded, strong skills in cost control.
  • Understand principle of manufacturing software such as: ERP & MRP systems.
