Are you a driven and experienced Site Manager for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? A leading Main Contractor who has a strong track record of delivering prestigious projects across the UK are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their team
About the role
This role will see you reporting into a Project Manager on a new industrial scheme
Responsibilities of the Site Manager
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations, ensuring work is completed safely and on time to the highest standard
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure smooth work flow and project efficiency
- Enforce health and safety regulations, always ensuring a safe working environment
- Monitor progress against the project programme, addressing any issues promptly to avoid delays
- Liaise with the Senior Site Manager & Project Manager, providing regular updates on site activities, progress and challenges
- Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications and client expectations
Requirements for the Site Manager
- Proven experience as a Site Manager with a Main Contracting background
- CSCS card and 1st Aid and SMSTS
- Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Strong understanding of steel frame structures and groundworks
