A well established manufacturer and distributor of bespoke products have an excitingProduction Manageropportunity within their operation, where you will be responsible forplanning, organising and structuring resourcesacrosspacking, assembly, finishing and manufacturingto ensure the"on time in full" fulfilment of customer orders. This will also involvedeveloping, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance standards, and increasing theefficiency of processes and procedureswhilstline managing and developing your team.

Your newProduction Managerrole will involve:
  • Implementing and improving processes and procedures, including planning to ensure the best use of resources
  • Implementing and improving quality assurance procedures
  • Creating and improving best practice across all manufacturing teams such as finishing, assembly, packing and shipping
  • Creating and maintaining HSE standards
  • Motivating, leading and supporting your team
  • Budget and cost control responsibility
  • Scheduling production activities to ensure "on time in full" requirements are met

I am very interested in speaking with candidates who have experience working as aProduction Manager, Head of Production, Manufacturing Manager, or Head of Manufacturing, within anindustrial manufacturing business.Working knowledge of tools includingMES, MRP and MPS, and a production management related qualification is definitely of interest too.

Salary for this position is: 55,000 to 65,000 p.a. (depending on level of experience).
