Production Manager - West Sussex - up to 60,000 + Benefits - Ref 1759
I am currently recruiting for a Production Manager to work for an engineering organisation based in West Sussex. Salary up to 60,000 + Benefits.
The organisation is supplying their products to clients worldwide within their specialist market and have been established for over 20 years.
Due to growth within the organisation, they have the need to appoint a Production Manager on a permanent basis.
In this role as a Production Manager, you will be a key member of the management team and will be managing all aspects of Production. You will be responsible for overseeing a small team of assemblers, polishers & machinist. The focus of this position is to set up a new Production flow for Machining, Polishing, Assembling, Dispatch & Stores, for context this site is brand new and state of the art! The production area will involve lots of small batch projects so there will be a heavy emphasis on planning, scheduling & updating production flows to increase productivity and efficiency. The company is growing on average 20% year on year, with that they will be looking to implement new machinery & production processes which you will be expected to drive being the Production Manager.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Production Manager
- Have set up a Production facility from scratch
- Lean or Kaizan
- Experience with Metals or Precision engineering
- S.M.E.D
- Mechanical biased
