They are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. Our team is passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a love of learning in every child. The nursery is open all year round between the hours of 7:30am and 6pm.Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic nursery Manager to lead our team. This is an exciting role for an existing Nursery Manager who is looking for a new role with the opportunity to developing and coaching a new team. In the role, you will be supported by the nursery owner as well as the office manager to try and allow you as much hands-on time with the team as possible. You will be responsible for the overall management of the nursery, ensuring policies, procedures and legislation are abided by. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education are maintained. You will be an excellent role model for the team and contribute towards creating a happy culture and working environment for the nursery.Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Lead and support a team of nursery staff, providing guidance, training, and professional development.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
  • Manage nursery budgets, resources, and supplies efficiently.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment for children, staff, and parents.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and the local community.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of the nursery's provision and implement improvements as needed.

Requirements:

  • Qualified with a recognised Level 3 within Early Years
  • Maths Level 2
  • Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Hold a current and valid First Aid certificate
