Are you a skilled Service Engineer looking to develop your career?Our client, a leading supplier of cutting-edge AV equipment, is looking for a talented Service Engineer to join their dynamic team in Crawley.If you thrive on problem-solving and have a knack for fault-finding and repairs, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!Key Responsibilities:
  • Fault-find and repair AV equipment down to component level.
  • Carry out intricate soldering tasks (1.5mm), including fine detail work and chip set replacements on PCB boards.
  • Swap out LED diodes on display panels and perform PAT testing.
  • Work from circuit schematics to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure all repairs meet the highest standards, maintaining the company's reputation for quality.
The Candidate:
  • Strong soldering skills, especially with fine components.
  • Proven experience in PCB repair and component-level fault finding.
  • Ability to read and interpret circuit schematics.
  • PAT Testing experience is desirable.
  • A proactive, hardworking individual with excellent attention to detail.
  • A robust character, able to work well under pressure and within a close-knit team.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
The Package:
  • Competitive salary 28,000 - £33,000pa DOE.
  • 20 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing by 1 day for every year of service (up to 25 days).
