Are you someone who can support the school to take good care of their school premises? Delivering a high quality service with a friendly manner and taking pride in their school by always ensuring that it looks it’s best.Reed Education are supporting a primary school based in Crawley who are looking for someone who will care for their buildings and grounds, carrying out minor repairs as well as managing site health & safety compliance checks, uploading information to the EVERY system used in school; and someone who is flexible, proactive and able to problem solve. Requirements for the role

  • They are looking for someone experienced in building or premises management with recognised experience, training or qualifications.
  • The post holder will need good English to be responsive to Health & Safety requirements, and confident to work alone and manage school security (building and contents).
  • The successful candidate will be expected to liaise effectively with contractors (e.g. trades, grounds workers) and be willing to attend appropriate training courses.
  • You will be expected to be aware and undertake safeguarding responsibilities working around children and be respectful of the need for confidentiality that exists when working in a school environment.

This role will involve an enhanced DBS which Reed Education can undertake for you
