About the Role:Randstad Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to join our network of schools in Crawley. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting children's learning and development in primary education, working closely with teachers to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support for students requiring additional help.
  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom atmosphere.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavioural support.
  • Prepare and organise teaching materials and classroom resources.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) when needed.
  • Participate in school activities, events, and parent meetings as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting.
  • A patient, caring, and supportive approach to working with children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
