Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for an exciting freelance opportunity? We are seeking a Freelance Project Manager to take full ownership of a 15 million industrial unit project in Crawley, overseeing it from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Project Management: Lead the project from initial planning through to final delivery, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, manage timelines, and coordinate all activities, including design, procurement, and construction phases.
- Budget Management: Oversee project finances, monitor expenditure, and ensure cost control while delivering value for money.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the key point of contact for all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and progress updates.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project progression.
- Quality Control: Maintain strict quality assurance standards, ensuring that all work meets project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is completed in line with current health and safety regulations, creating a safe working environment on site.
- Project Handover: Manage the final phases of the project, ensuring a seamless handover and client satisfaction upon completion.
About You:
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects, ideally in the industrial sector
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle from conception to delivery
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain high-quality standards
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction
- CSCS and SMSTS qualifications (essential)
