Description

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking ownership of the purchasing process to get the best discounts while meeting customer demand and minimizing warehouse stock.
  • Monitoring supplier discounts and availability to ensure efficient and effective purchasing.
  • To liaise directly with clients (nurses), suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure products are secured and successfully delivered.
  • To ensure all information is accurately recorded and all tasks actioned in a timely and professional manner.
  • To effectively time manage to meet all deadlines, due dates, and delivery schedules.
  • To have a full understanding of the internal and external customer's needs and exact requirements
  • Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk to or impact on business operations.
  • Deliver purchasing briefs, updates, and reports as and when required.
  • To support the development of ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement for sourcing
  • Support development of team KPIs and strategies to aid purchasing performance
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
