Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced Procurement Buyer to join a rapidly growing company based in Crawley.

Job Title - Procurement Buyer

Salary - £32,000 - £35,000k

Hybrid - 9am - 5pm, Office Based Parking on site

We are seeking an experienced Buyer with at least 2+ years in procurement, ideally looking to step into a leadership role. This opportunity is perfect for someone who is either ready to progress into a Team Leader position or an aspiring Senior Buyer looking for long-term growth.   • Manage purchasing to secure the best discounts while minimising stock.
  • Monitor supplier discounts and availability for efficient purchasing.
  • Communicate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Accurately record information and complete tasks promptly.
  • Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and delivery schedules.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Ensure a steady supply of goods and address potential supply issues.
  • Provide purchasing updates and reports as needed.
  • Support strategies for improving efficiency and business performance.
  • Assist in developing KPIs to enhance purchasing effectiveness.
  • Maintain strong supplier and internal relationships

Required:

  • 2+ years in Procurement role looking to take the next step
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Positive attitude, focused on excellent customer service.
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
  • Self-motivated, works well independently and in teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Organised with a logical approach to planning.
