Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Gatwick Airport
Contract: Full-time with Hybrid Working
Salary: 45,000 to 60,000 + package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a well regarded cost and project management consultancy working closely with Gatwick Airport. My client is providing a variety of upgrades across Gatwicks vast site in Sussex including upgrades to the sites infrastructure including lighting, aircraft stands and aircraft maintenance facilities through to refurbishments of buildings on both land and air side. The Quantity Surveyor will be working closely with Gatwick Airports internal team, various stakeholders and suppliers throughout various stages of the project. Some of your key duties will include:
- Conduct thorough benchmarking and reviews of the design to ensure alignment with the clients requirements, building contracts, and lease agreements.
- Collaborate closely with the project team and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects from start to finish
- Provide cost estimation and budget management throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Prepare and present reports on project progress, financial status, and compliance to senior management and stakeholders.
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders to resolve any issues that may arise during the project execution.
- Monitor project schedules and assist in maintaining timelines to ensure on-time project delivery.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will need an indepth understanding of the NEC contract, excellent communication skills and live within a reasonable commute of Gatwick Airport. You'll also need a proven track record of delivering aviation or similar infrastructure projects for principle contractors or a cost consultant.
