Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor

Administration of NEC3 contracts
Preparation and issue documentation to the supply chain and clients
Attend project meetings
Monitor change control
Liaise with the planner
Pre, during and post contract liaison
Supply chain negotiation
Manage variations
monthly valuations
final accounts
Preparation of project tenders
Client relationships

Requirements of the Quantity Surveyor

BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying, with a minimum of 3 years' experience an NEC contract environment;
Experience of both Pre-Contract and Post-Contract work;
knowledge of NEC 3 main and subcontract contract forms
