Logistics Analyst

Monday - Friday - 35 hours per week

£35,000 - £40,000 per annum

I am currently representing a manufacturing and distribution company in the Crawley area who are looking to grow their Logistics Team and are currently recruiting for a Logistics Analyst. The ideal candidate would have a background in Logistics, experience in Microsoft Office Dynamics 365, PowerBI, Excel such as Pivot tables, V-Look up and the ability to analyse and extract data. 

Key duties:

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  •  Analyse logistics data, identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
  • Create and adapt reports on key logistics metrics
  • Provide actionable insights based on data finds

Supply Chain:

  • Work alongside logistics and supply chain teams 
  • Recommend and implement process improvements 
  • Monitor and track key performers indicators 

Inventory Management:

  • Analyse stock movement
  • Collaborate with procurement 
  • Support the development of stock levels to reduce excess inventory and minimise stockouts 

Transportation and Delivery Coordination:

  • Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Analyse transportation costs and third-party logistic providers

Supplier Management:

  • Review vendors and suppliers' data to ensure smooth coordination of logistics activities
  • Evaluate vendor performance data 

Additional Duties: Collaborate with internal departments within the UK and Internationally such as Purchasing, Warehouse and Sales.
