As Development Manager, you will oversee the development of primarily residential and mixed-use projects, manage land promotion, and handle legacy close-out procedures throughout the entire development life cycle.

Client Details

Our client is a land-focused house builder located in the South East, specialising in creating new homes and communities through partnerships with housing associations, landowners, and fund managers to deliver residential developments.

Description

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Support the Head of in delivering development projects, land promotion opportunities, and establishing the department.
  • Assist relevant teams in generating new business and identifying land opportunities.
  • Oversee the coordination of planning applications, legal teams, and external partners for project delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, prepare feasibility reports, and appoint consultants for development projects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and funders, while managing internal project recording systems.

Profile

The successful candidate will ideally be RICS or MRTPI qualified with a Real Estate or Property related degree and able to commute to the South East with ease.

Additional experience required within:

  • Planning Application submission and monitoring
  • Project Management
  • Development Appraisals
  • Acquisition Underwriting
  • Disposal of Development Sites and Investment Properties
