We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality geography instruction to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially Key Stage 5. This role involves developing engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and contributing to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities of a Geography Teacher:

• Develop and deliver comprehensive geography lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities. Use innovative teaching methods to make geography engaging and relevant.
• Create and implement a curriculum that aligns with national standards and enhances students' understanding of geography.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve and achieve their academic goals.
• Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, discipline, and active learning.
• Work closely with other faculty members including other Geography teacher to integrate geography into the broader school curriculum. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to collaborative planning and decision-making.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with the latest educational practices and geographic knowledge.
• Support and participate in extracurricular activities and school events that promote geographic awareness and education.

Qualifications of a Geography Teacher:

• A bachelor's degree in Geography or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching geography at the secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of the geography curriculum and assessment frameworks.
