We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join our Mathematics Faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education in Maths at Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a stimulating classroom environment, and contributing to the development of teaching materials and programmes of study.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Establish effective relationships with students, staff, parents, and other professionals.
  • Teach the National Curriculum and other programmes of study effectively, considering the needs of the students and the school’s SEND Policy.
  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning.
  • Encourage good working and learning habits in students.
  • Provide intervention for underperforming students and utilise a variety of resources to enhance learning.
  • Plan and deliver exciting, challenging, and differentiated lessons.
  • Provide students with effective, relevant, and regular feedback in line with the school’s Assessment for Learning policy.
  • Track student progress and provide interventions as necessary.
  • Contribute to the planning and development of schemes of work and resources.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and the wider life of the school.
  • Uphold the school’s Health and Safety guidelines and comply with all school policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching Maths at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Ability to plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and SEND policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
