We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team for a short-term contract from January 2025 to February 2025. This role involves teaching Maths to students in KS3 to KS4, providing them with a strong foundation in mathematics and preparing them for their GCSE exams.

Day-to-day of the role:

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative Maths lessons that meet the curriculum standards.
Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback to foster a positive learning environment.
Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
Maintain discipline in accordance with the school rules and disciplinary systems.
Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.
Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
Strong understanding of the national curriculum and current assessment practices.
