Key Responsibilities for a Maths Teacher

Design engaging and effective maths lessons that meet curriculum standards and support students' learning.
Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing regular feedback to help them achieve their potential.
Create a focused, positive, and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student participation and managing behavior in line with school policies.
Offer additional support to students who may need extra help, tailoring approaches to suit diverse learning needs.
Foster a love of learning by making maths accessible, relevant, and engaging.

Requirements for a Maths Teacher

A degree in Mathematics or a related field, along with a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or QTS).
Previous experience teaching maths in a secondary school setting is preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a passion for inspiring young learners.
