Job Description: Science Teacher
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join this amazing Secondary School in Crawley. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons across biology, chemistry, and physics.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
- Foster an environment conducive to hands-on learning, inquiry, and critical thinking.
- Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, experiments, and feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and share best practices.
- Encourage student participation in science fairs, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE) or equivalent.
- Strong command of scientific concepts and practical teaching strategies.
- Experience in teaching is preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Ability to manage laboratory safety and engage students effectively.
