Role Overview:As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is desirable). You will play a key role in developing students' understanding of scientific concepts, encouraging inquiry-based learning, and promoting a love for science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum for Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics.
- Inspire and challenge students of all abilities to explore and understand scientific principles.
- Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Utilize practical experiments and demonstrations to enhance student engagement and understanding.
Who We're Looking For:
- A qualified Science Teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is desirable).
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, with the ability to teach across disciplines.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
