Luke Malin Academics is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in Crawley. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and challenge students through dynamic and high-quality science lessons.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for science among students. Depending on experience and subject expertise, there may also be opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5 (A-Level).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic science lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Teach across the secondary curriculum, specializing in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics as required.
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress to ensure attainment and achievement.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.
  • Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.
Essential Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Science or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching science at secondary level in the UK (KS3 & KS4; KS5 desirable).
  • Strong classroom management skills.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
  • Experience teaching A-Level in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
  • Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Ability to integrate technology into teaching.
  • Experience working with SEN (Special Educational Needs) students.
