Premier Work Support are excited to be recruiting for Transport Support Assistants for a Global company based in Crawley on a temporary basis however for the right candidates this could lead to permanent positions.

The role involves working in a team, managing pressure, and adapting to new environments. Staff will be required to work across all areas of the business, including transport, airside and landside operations, dispatch, and supervising the staff screening process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct security checks on airline equipment and vehicles per CAA and DfT regulations.
  • Handle catering supplies for aircraft, ensuring timely delivery and correct loading.
  • Assist with catering and de-catering according to block plans and schedules.
  • Ensure all catering activities meet SLAs and quality standards.
  • Support other departments to maintain production schedules.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation and compliance with safety, security, and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain effective communication to prevent delays and resolve issues.
  • Follow all corporate, health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Essential: UK driving license (no points), customer service experience, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Desirable: 1 year's experience in catering.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, COSHH, food safety, and DfT requirements.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Work Conditions:
  • Must be able to handle physical tasks, including lifting and working in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work in various environments (e.g., stairwells, heights).
  • Must adhere to manual handling and food safety guidelines.
Essential Requirements:
  • Uniform must be worn, including PPE and a visible name badge.
  • Completion of relevant training (COSHH, HACCP, food safety).
  • Complete paperwork on time and perform additional duties as needed.
