Your Role as the Store Manager:

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations, maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction
  • Lead a team, handling recruitment, training, and ongoing staff development
  • Oversee stock control, including ordering, stocktaking, and ensuring product availability
  • Manage site operations, including health and safety, housekeeping, and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Maintain effective communication with the business owner, area managers, and office staff
  • Operate EPOS systems and manage internal and external data systems effectively

Store Manager Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in retail management, ideally in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Strong computer literacy (EPOS systems and Microsoft Office essential)
  • A proactive, flexible approach, particularly during peak trading times
  • Full driving licence and access to personal transport (essential)
  • Desirable qualifications include First Aid and Forklift training
