About Us: We are a dynamic and supportive SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school dedicated to providing exceptional education and care to our students. Our school caters to children with a range of complex needs, including autism, ADHD, and social communication difficulties. We believe in a holistic approach, integrating education and therapy to support each child's unique needs.
The Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students' educational and personal development. Your experience as a youth worker will be invaluable in understanding and addressing the challenges faced by our students. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and delivering tailored educational activities.

Provide one-on-one and group support to students.

Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive social interactions.

Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).

Support students in developing life skills and independence.

Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our students.
About You:

Experience as a youth worker, supporting young adults with complex needs.

Passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with SEMH needs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to learn and grow within the education sector.

Relevant qualifications in youth work or a related field are desirable but not essential.
