Academics is looking for a Psychology graduate to join a specialist school in East Grinstead as an SEN Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with students with Autism, ADHD, and other special educational needs (SEN)-ideal for those considering careers in educational psychology, clinical psychology, or SEN teaching.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN.

  • Assist with learning activities, behaviour management, and emotional regulation.

  • Implement strategies to support students' social, emotional, and cognitive development.

  • Work alongside teachers, therapists, and SENCOs to deliver personalised support.



Requirements

  • Psychology degree (or related field).

  • Full UK driving licence (school is not easily accessible by public transport).
