SEN Teacher

A dedicated school based in Crawley are looking for an experienced SEN Teacher to implement the school curriculum that helps pupils with a range of complex learning difficulties and disabilities. Responsibilities of an SEN Teacher:

  • Plan and teach lessons, work with small groups and individual students.

  • Develop and adapt conventional teaching methods to meet the individual needs of pupils.

Requirements of an SEN Teacher:

  • You must be a qualified teacher with PGCE, QTS or recognised equivalent.
  • Knowledge of teaching techniques for students with special needs.
  • Flexibility, openness to new ideas and ability to identify students' weaknesses and strengths.
  • Ability to create a conducive and positive learning environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and leaderships qualities to engage students, parents and other professionals in the educational system.
