Academics is seeking a passionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive specialist school in Crawley. This role offers the chance to inspire and support students with Autism, ADHD, and complex needs, helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet individual student needs.

  • Implement EHCP targets and track student progress.

  • Foster a structured, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

  • Work collaboratively with TAs, therapists, and parents to provide holistic support.

  • Manage behaviour effectively using positive reinforcement strategies.

Requirements
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Experience with SEN students (preferred but not essential).

  • Patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach.

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

  • Full UK driving licence (school is not easily accessible by public transport).

  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
