SEN Teacher - Specialist School in Crawley
I am currently looking for SEN Teacher to join a well-supported specialist school in Crawley. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact, helping students with special educational needs (SEN) thrive academically, socially, and emotionally in a nurturing environment.
Role Overview:As an SEN Teacher, you will design and deliver tailored lessons that meet the diverse needs of students with additional learning requirements. Collaborating with teaching assistants, therapists, and school staff, you will create an inclusive and engaging learning environment that supports every child's development.
Key Responsibilities:-
Plan and deliver personalised lessons to support students with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and complex learning needs.

Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

Work closely with support staff, therapists, and parents to provide well-rounded student support.

Manage classroom behaviour positively, using de-escalation techniques where necessary.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

Experience working with students with SEN in a school setting.

A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach to teaching.

Strong differentiation and behaviour management skills
