We are recruiting a TRANSPORT COORDINATOR / TRANSPORT PLANNER / TRANSPORT MANAGER / LOGISTICS PROFESSIONAL to work within a well-respected construction company.
We are looking for an ambitious individual to help oversee the transport planning operation of their HGV's working out of their main head office site which is situated near Crawley.
Please bear in mind you must have some form of experience within the Transport Planning and Route Planning sector although this experience doesn't have to come from the construction world or the builders merchants world either. Good route planning knowledge is also essential, especially in relation to the South East of England.
In this role you will be given full training on their systems and processes. A transport management CPC and/or and IOSH certificate would be ideal but is preferred rather than essential.
This is a position that requires very strong attention to detail and a methodical approach is a necessity. Health and Safety is an integral part of this role and all protocol must be followed in relation to vehicle checks, driver's recorded hours and rectification of vehicle defects, amongst other things.
