We are looking for a permanent Warehouse/ Fine Art Packer for our client based in Crawley.
Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00Salary: 拢30,000 - 拢35,000 per annum
Duties:路 Professional handling, packing and crating of sensitive and valuables路 Packing and crating for local, domestic and international transport路 Professionally and efficiently wrap, load, span, tie in artworks within a truck/container to keep them safe and stable during transport路 Inspecting of products to determine how, where, when, or if, to touch them and how to pack for transport路 Visit client premises to conduct site surveys, to ascertain access, best practises etc路 Expertly Installing products, sculptures and high-end furniture路 Efficiently handling paperwork including bills of lading, labelling, timesheets and detailed condition reports with photos路 Communicating with operations team throughout the day 路 Thorough understanding and use of proper packing materials for all surfaces
Key Attributes路 Thorough understanding and a minimum of 5 years experience with industry standards for handling, packing, transporting, and installing high end furniture, art and antiques路 Ability to efficiently wrap/pack sensitive and valuable furniture, works of art and antiques路 Be physically fit and have the ability to work comfortably on ladders, scaffolding or mechanized lifts路 Professional appearance and demeanour路 Familiar with art terminology 路 Driving licence
