About the role:

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our clients growing team in the Gatwick Area. This role will mainly consist of picking, packing and dispatching orders but you may also occasionally be required to handle incoming deliveries from suppliers. You will also be responsible for ensuring accurate stock levels through ongoing stock management and generally assisting with general day to day warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate picking, packing and dispatch of orders.
  • Booking in stock deliveries.
  • Undertaking regular stock takes and ensuring accurate stock levels on our system.
  • Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, tidy & compliant with H&S regulations.

What we’re looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent teamwork skills and an ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Organised with an ability to manage several tasks at once.
  • Ability to manage time and workload effectively.
  • A proactive, 'get stuck in’ attitude and a desire to always deliver quality work.

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
  • FLT Reach License. License can be provided to successful candidate.
