As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient handling of goods in our warehouse. Your duties will include:
- Receiving, checking and sorting the full range of products that enter the warehouse
- Picking, packing and processing orders for dispatch
- Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks and scanners
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area and following health and safety rules
- Working as part of a team to meet deadlines and targets
To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you should have:
- The ability to lift and move heavy items
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills
- A flexible approach to work and the ability to work shifts
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills and IT proficiency
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is desirable but not essential
