Right Now Group are working with a specialist logistics company to recruit an experienced Warehouse Operative. The ideal candidate will have a background in safe and professional handling, packing of transport of high-value such as antiques and fine art.

Salary: £30,000-£35,000Location: Crawley Shift: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative:

Communicate effectively with the operations team throughout the day to ensure seamless coordination.
Handle, pack, and crate sensitive and valuable antiques and fine art for local, domestic, and international transport.
Wrap, load, and secure artworks in trucks or containers
Inspect freight to determine appropriate handling and packing methods.
Conduct site surveys to determine best practices for installations and collections.
Professionally install artworks, sculptures, and high-end furniture at client locations.
Complete bills of lading, labelling, timesheets, and detailed condition reports with photographs.
Utilise proper packing materials and techniques to protect all surfaces and maintain the integrity of transported items.

Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative:A minimum of 5 years of experience in handling, packing, transporting, and installing high-value goods Proficiency in wrapping and packing sensitive items Physically fit and able to work comfortably on ladders, scaffolding, or mechanized lifts.A full, clean driving license is essential.
