KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Warehouse Returns Operative for our client based in Crawley.
As a Warehouse Returns Operative your working hours and days are:
- 4 on 4 off
- 10:00- 22:00
The rate of pay as a Warehouse Returns Operative is:
- £12.50 p/h
The duties and responsibilities as a Warehouse Returns Operative are:
- De-briefing all returning vehicles to the depot
- Checking for any damages and safety issues
- Communicating with Drivers regarding the daily runs and dealing with any issues
- Reporting any defects
- Managing VOR’s
- Downloading camera footage taken from the vehicles and tacho graph machines
- Liaise with our vehicle management unit, sub contractors and drivers
The ideal candidate for a Warehouse Returns Operative would need:
- Good understanding of transport legalisation and logistics operation
- Able tob build good relationships with people even when under pressure
- Challenge any vehicle issues or damages with our drivers
- Able to make decisions in the absence of the Depot Manager to drive performance and service
- React quickly to information and be able to solve problems in dependtly
- Good communication skills both verbally and written
- Competent use of Microsoft, particularly Excel
