Lloyd Recruitment Services are delighted to be working with a local company in the glazing and window industry, who are looking for an experienced Window Fitter to join their team, on a full-time permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will be attending client sites to conduct glazing repairs and installations, in Crawley / surrounding areas.

Day to day duties:

Installing, repairing and maintaining double glazed windows
Attending client sites on a daily basis
Conducting assessments and generating quotations
Taking payments via card
Ensuring each job is completed to company standards
Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Accurately measuring window openings
Removing old or damaged windows
Ensuring thermal installation and airtightness
Replacing broken or failed double-glazing units
Adjusting hinges and handles
Liaising with clients and providing an excellent standard of service

Key Skills/Attributes:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Glazier/Window Fitter role or similar (essential)
Full clean driving licence (essential)
Excellent interpersonal skills-comfortable in client facing environments
Willingness to see jobs through to completion, even if after standard trading hours
Knowledge / experience of surveying (advantageous)
Physically fit and comfortable with occasional heavy lifting
