Waste Control OperatorThe Opportunity:This highly successful and expanding PCB manufacturer serves a global clientele of blue-chip corporations across the military, aerospace, and telecommunications sectors, focusing on stringent quality and performance standards. They are excited to be recruiting for an Waste Control Operative.About the roleYou will be responsible for working within their waste treatment facility, working alongside the Health and Safety Manager, ensuring that all chemicals are stored, handled and used safely.  You will assist in ensuring that all the processes are running as required. This is a highly manual role with a strong focus on ensuring the treatment facility is always kept clean and tidy.Other Responsibilities will include:
  • Working safely with large volumes of chemicals
  • Adoption of best working practices
  • Working as part of a cross functional team, following precise protocols
What are we looking for:
  • A good level of Math’s and English
  • To be able to understand the principles of COSHH (this will be taught)
  • The ability to build strong relationships with people at all levels of the business

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 2pm (40 hours per week)
