We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the largestlift suppliers in the South West, with over 30 years' experience in providing new installation, repair and maintenance services to the traction and hydraulic lift industry. They are currently seeking an experienced Lift Service Engineer to manage a service route across the county of Devon, carrying out routine maintenance checks and inspections to a range of types of lift equipment.
The role will involve;
- Conducting routine maintenance checks on lifts to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Responding promptly to lift breakdowns and carrying out necessary repairs.
- Performing inspections and testing of lift equipment to comply with regulatory standards.
- Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair work completed.
- Providing excellent customer service and technical support to clients.
- Acting as a key part of the company's out-of-hours standby rota, attending to emergency calls, trapped passengers and breakdowns.
To be considered for this position, you need to have;
- A minimum of 60% completion of the NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering, or equivalent J-Modules or BTEC qualification - NALM Lift Engineering Modules also accepted.
- A full UK Driving License.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in conducting routine maintenance, servicing and breakdowns across a range of types of lift equipment.
- Strong fault-finding competency.
The position is offering a competitive remuneration package, including;
- A basic hourly rate of up to 20 per hour depending on experience and qualification level.
- All travel paid door-to-door.
