My client is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a team of 5 maintenance engineers in the PCB manufacturing sector. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who is keen on fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. The successful candidate will ensure optimal performance of all PCB manufacturing equipment and maintain high standards of operational excellence.
Day-to-day of the role:- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance engineers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Schedule and allocate work assignments to ensure optimal resource utilisation and timely completion of tasks.
- Promote and ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for electrical systems and other PCB manufacturing equipment.
- Analyse equipment performance data to predict potential failures and implement proactive solutions.
- Manage and maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, parts inventory, and equipment history.
- Optimise the usage of any Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment, ensuring integration with existing systems.
- Manage maintenance-related projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Maintain accurate records of all inspections and certifications.
- Proven experience managing a team in a maintenance or manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety standards - 18th Edition BS7671.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- High level of computer literacy.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
