Temporary to Permanent

gap personnel Exeter, are currently recruiting for a Food Production Operative on a temporary to permanent placement based in Crediton, Devon.

You will be joining a fast-paced farm with over 30 years in the market, they produce high quality meat products to supply to prestigious restaurants and bars throughout the UK.

As a Food Production Operative your duties will include:

  • General welfare of livestock.
  • Packing and grading operation.
  • Bagging and weighing.
  • General hygiene of packing area.
  • Cutting meat products (once trained).

Working Hours & Pay:

  • Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday starting at 06:00 and finishing at 17:00. Thursdays and Fridays starting at 06:00 and finishing approximately 14:00.
  • £11.60 per hour.
  • £12.00ph once trained within cutting of meat.

Successful candidates will be pro-active team workers, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
