Job Title: Quality Assurance Administrator

Location: EX17

Department: Quality Assurance

Salary: £25,979 + Quarterly Bonus

Hours: Tuesday - Friday, 10am - 8:30pm

Reports To: Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary: The Quality Assurance Administrator is responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance team in ensuring that all products meet the required standards and specifications. This role involves validating the output of others, preparing test reports, and maintaining documentation. The Quality Assurance Administrator will also communicate with management and production operators on technical and quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in the day-to-day operations of the department.
  • Validate the output of production using various measuring techniques to ensure products meet prescribed specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with management and production operators regarding technical and quality issues.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate test reports and documentation.
  • Monitor and report on quality performance and compliance.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards and regulations.
  • Product knowledge to make informed decisions on compliance to specifications.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in quality assurance or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using measuring tools and quality assurance software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations.
