Your new firmDue to an expansion in client base, this established firm based in Crewe are seeking to recruit an Accounts Semi-Senior to join their team and support the firms growth. Established in 2005, this firm provides a full range of accountancy services including audit, accounts, tax compliance, tax planning, business advisory and payroll. Their clients range from sole traders and limited companies to corporations with multi-million-pound turnovers. With a reputation for providing excellent service and advice, this is an excellent opportunity for candidates to join a friendly and supportive team of experts in a modern and forward-thinking firm.

Your new roleAs Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for the accounts preparation for a range of clients including sole traders, limited companies and larger corporations. You will act as a client manager and will be responsible for your own portfolio of clients. You will prepare VAT returns and will use accounts software including Xero and Quickbooks. You will work alongside the rest of the accounts team and will be involved with training and managing junior staff and you will be required to effectively manage your own time.

What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience handling accounts for a wide range of clients in a practice environment. You will also need strong IT and technical skills with experience in accounts software such as Xero and Quickbooks. You will need to be able to manage client relationships and support them on a wide range of accountancy queries. This candidate will need to be AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience (QBE). Having strong time management skills and the ability to manage your own workload effectively, as well as being innovative and striving to improve processes, will make you a strong candidate for this role.What you'll get in returnIn return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £30,000 and £38,000 dependant on experience. This firm offers hybrid working options and a 1pm finish on a Friday with a 37 ½ hour working week. You will be able to avail of the study support package and will have receive a companywide benefits package including holidays and pension contributions. This firm also offers hybrid and flexible working patterns as well as regular team social events and annual away trips.
