Job description:

We are excited to partner with a well-established accountancy firm in Crewe, known for its strong reputation across the North West and multiple offices in surrounding areas.

Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join their growing team. In this role, you will manage a diverse client portfolio, ensuring the preparation of accurate financial statements and delivering valuable financial insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reports and submissions.
  • Prepare and submit year-end accounts, Corporation Tax computations, VAT Returns, and Confirmation Statements with precision.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, while managing payroll on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Set and manage client expectations, arranging closing meetings to finalise accounts.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Experience with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks to streamline processes and enhance client experiences.
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA part qualified / qualified.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Proficient in Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
  • Strong track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
